Blindness. It isn’t so bad… #blindnewworld #BlindNewWorld
My blindness does not define. With Grace my Guide Dog I can do anything including a 5k in 47 minutes. #BlindNewWorld

Blindness is no stranger to my family. A rare form of glacoma has claimed the sight of my mother’s left eye, my sister’s right eye, my own right eye, and both of my brother’s eyes. Blindness is terrible, but it’s not the end of the world. Being a 20 year old and knowing that you could be completely blind in both eyes by age 40 is tough, but I’m okay with it. Sure, my family gets down about our of lack of sight from time to time but we don’t let it get to us. Life is too short to feel sorry for ourselves! There is always someone who is struggling more than you, someone who is hurting more than you, and someone who wishes they were LIKE you. We may be blind, but we have so much to offer those who need help and encouragment since we’ve walked through some tough times ourselves. It’s a big world out there, and as a blind person YOU have so much to offer! So, get out there and do what you do best. #BlindNewWorld
Since 3, now 43, this disease has caused me to loose sight in my right eye. I fight the battle to save my left but whatever happens, I will never lack vision!
The sun will come up and my dogs at my side. We will walk towards the rays and live out our days as it doesn’t take eyes to see that “just because a man lacks the use of his eyes doesn’t mean he lacks vision.”
2 years and counting since I lost my sight and finally starting to appreciate my new life I am not disabled but better yet impaired I can do whatever I put my mind to #BlindNewWorld
Love you brother #BlindNewWorld
